Sundering Week is meant to be a calm stretch of reflection and renewal before the new year. But calm has never survived the Keshkin youths of Kharbinia.
Affectionately—and often begrudgingly—called the Kharbinian Horde, these young troublemakers are leaving Aravindha Keep to return home to Alnyagel, where Ascension has been celebrated for generations. They’re only one branch of the sixteen great families who will be arriving at the Keep in a near-simultaneous flood of tradition, rivalry, and barely-contained chaos.
Eight days on the road gives the Horde ample time to gather allies, spark mischief, and engineer the kind of trouble only they can conjure. And with sixteen families converging on Alnyagel, this year’s Ascension promises to be unforgettable—for reasons no one is prepared for.
